Biography:
Born to well educated parents, Ben Goldman was
raised in a cultured world of art, music and literature. Since
his earliest days he has been drawing. Through out his young
life he had training in art and music. These early teaching
carried on with him through out the hard years that followed.
For years he worked as a graphics
and web designer, while doing freelance illustration jobs. His
growing interest in drawing and painting lead him away from
the high tech world of computers and back to college to get
his B.F.A. in painting and drawing from Kennesaw State University
in Kennesaw, Georgia.
While living in the Atlanta
area, he became involved with the vibrant art community there
and began regulary showing his work. A dedicated and highly
intelligent artist, he has shown his work in galleries and museums
around the Atlanta area. His latest bodies of work include complex
allegorical figural paintings that deal with time and memory,
and a series of drawings done on gameboards that reveal the
inner animal behavior of humans.
Ben Goldman is currently living
in Marietta, Georgia. He works as an art conservator and freelance
illustrator.
